Hi! I'm Liliana, founder and maker of By the Danube, a small studio based in Belturbet Co. Cavan. I grew up in Galati, a city along the Danube River, a place that has always held a special meaning for me, a symbol of calm, flow and connection to nature. When I moved to Ireland, I carried those memories with me and they became the inspiration behind the name and essence of my business.

By the Danube was born from a desire to create moments of peace and connection through scent, a way to bring nature, memory and mindfulness into everyday life. My collection includes scented soy wax candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room sprays and concrete home décor, all thoughtfully designed to transform your space into a haven of calm.

I handcraft every product myself and my goal is to create high-quality products that are kind to both people and the planet.
