to By the Danube!
Our mission is to create beautiful home fragrance
products that can be used all year round to make your home feel
warmer, more inviting and to introduce calmness, relaxation, luxury
and self-care through carefully selected scents.
Background
It
all started with buying a candle making kit just for fun and I enjoyed the process so much that I decided to experiment a little bit more. After extensive research and
rigorous testing different fragrances and waxes, lots of trial and error, By the Danube was born. This river journey is very close
to my heart as I am originally from Galati, a city in Romania on the banks of the Danube, hence my idea to
develop a range of scents inspired by places, nature, culture or history of each of the countries the Danube flows through. As you cruise along, you get to know the story and inspiration behind each scent in our signature collection.
A
little bit about our products
Our
candles, wax melts, room sprays and reed diffusers are individually poured in our
studio in Belturbet, Co. Cavan. We use only high-quality ingredients, 100%
natural soy wax, natural essential oil blends, premium fragrance oil
blends, recyclable and reusable packaging with sustainability and eco
consciousness in mind. We are constantly learning and researching to
keep our business as green as possible and minimise the impact on our
environment.
