We're so excited to share our passion with you! At By the Danube, our mission is to create beautiful home fragrance products that you can enjoy all year round. We want to help make your home feel warmer and more inviting while introducing a sense of calmness, relaxation, luxury and self-care through our carefully selected scents.
Background
It all began with a simple candle making kit that I thought would be a fun little project. I had such a great time making candles that I decided to dive deeper and experiment! After lots of research and some happy trial and error with different fragrances and waxes, By the Danube was born. This journey is super special to me because I’m originally from Galati, a charming city in Romania that sits alongside the lovely Danube river. That's where the inspiration for our scent range comes from, inspired by the beautiful places, nature, culture and history of all the countries the Danube flows through. So, as you explore our collection, you'll also discover the stories behind each scent!
A little bit about our products
Our candles, wax melts, room sprays, and reed diffusers are all lovingly poured right here in our cozy studio in Belturbet, Co. Cavan. We only use the best ingredients, including 100% natural soy wax, natural essential oil blends, and premium fragrance oils, all packaged in recyclable and reusable materials. We’re committed to being as eco-friendly as possible because we care deeply about our planet. We’re always learning and finding new ways to reduce our impact!
